- Hello all,
- I have just bought an A1200, and know nothing about Amigas. I bought
- Rainbow Islands, but it does not work on the 1200. I was told I
- needed a "degrader" program to make my machine backwardly compatible,
- which I got.
- However, the instructions with the degrader are either unclear - or the
- program simply does not work. No matter what I try - including the
- "early startup options" on the 1200, Rainbow Islands just will not
- boot.
-
- Am I doing something completely stupid, or does anyone know of a
- way to get it working, or a better degrader program, or will Rainbow
- Islands never work??
-
- I hope someone can help, as Rainbow Islands used to be one of my
- favourite games.
-
- Please email me on: cjc@swindon.gpsemi.com or post replies to these
- groups.
-
- Thanks,
- Craig
